Since its release, Mortal Kombat 1 has consistently been hitting it out of the ballpark when it comes to fire DLC and expansion content, and the latest addition is no different.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns is basically a nice little addition to the story for the game, adding to the narrative with the return of Havik from a different timeline.
While the additional story is always going to excite me, the real magic of Khaos Reigns is in the Kombat Pack 2, which adds several more fighters to the game.
Some fighters are reimagined versions of returning characters like Cyrax and Sektor. However, we also get Conan the Barbarian (Arnies version), T-1000 from Terminator 2 and Ghostface from the Scream series.
Mortal Kombat 1 is also gearing up for a free upgrade to bring back animalities and variant fatalities involving characters transforming into animals. So that’s nice.
The Khaos Reigns expansion will be released on the 24th of September on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
