Riot Games has often been teasing their latest 2v2 fighting game, 2XKO, over the past few months, showing off some of the gameplay and the current champion’s skills. Still, the game has mostly been kept in-house. Now, with the announcement of a new champion being added to the roster, they’re also opening up Alpha registrations to the public.
The latest champion to make his way over from Summoners Rift is Braum, the man with mighty muscles and an even mightier heart. As he usually plays the support role in League of Legends, he will feature similar skills in 2XKO, where he will bolster defences and implement a frost mechanic during battles.
Braums Poro friends will also be joining him in 2XKO, where they can be used to stop enemies from retreating or bundle up together into a massive ball of cute destruction, delivering epic amounts of damage.
The Heart of the Freljord is a fine addition to the roster and adds new ways to play this exciting new 2v2 fighting game. Which some of us may be lucky to do as Riot has also opened up registrations for at-home alpha testing.

Sign up for the test phase by heading to the Riot Games Alpha Lab Website. The test phase will run from the 8th to the 19th of August, and although it says it is region-specific, I’m sure a little white lie or two on the survey, pretending to live in Europe, might just slip through the cracks.
You only need a free Riot account and an Xbox, PS5, or Windows PC to participate.
