If you’re looking to scratch that life-sim, dungeon-crawling RPG itch, you may be excited to hear that a new game from the developers of Rune Factory will be hitting the Nintendo eShop on the 16th of August, Elrentaros Wanderings.
Published by Red Art Games and developed by HAKAMA, Elrentaros Wanderings is looking to blend the action RPG-type boss fights, looting and the ever-cosy life simulation of getting to know your towns-folk better.
There will be ten unique characters in town that the player can form bonds with. These bonds activate different in-battle “Alliances,” assisting the player when they need it most.
The game also features two different alternate realities, where all the same characters exist, but differently. These intertwining worlds will keep players on their toes as they try to form relationships with each character.
The digital edition will launch in August, but for those of us who like to display the boxes on our shelves, a deluxe and collectors edition will be launched later in October. The Deluxe Edition features a copy of the game, a sleeved box, a keychain, a sticker sheet, a 30-page art book, and an acrylic stand, while the Collectors Edition comes in a steel-book case, a pin-set, a double-sided poster, a sticker set and a keychain. There will be limited copies sold, 500 of the Deluxe Edition at around R1,000 and 1000 of the Collectors Edition at around R1,400.
