Just this morning, Bandai Namco released a friendly public service announcement for gamers eager to jump into the Elden Ring expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, when it drops on June 20th. And we here at NAG think gamers should pay attention to it.
With less than two weeks to go before the expansion arrives, Bandai has this to say:
Friendly PSA for all those looking forward to #ELDENRING Shadow of the Erdtree.

Gamers have less than two weeks to prepare. Now, what that means is actually vitally important. In order to unlock the new content, players need to beat the optional boss Mogh, which, according to Steam, only 37.8% of players have.
As mentioned above, Mohg is an optional boss, meaning it’s not only possible but also highly likely that many players finished the game without ever running into him, let alone killing him, and while for many going back, finding him, and putting him out of his misery will be no biggy, it is worth noting that that will need to happen before you can enjoy the new content the expansion will bring.
Bandai Namco’s little PSA has helped matters somewhat because only a couple of hours after their post on X, the percentage of Elden Ring players on Steam who have the achievement is already sitting at 38.7%.
I guess it’s not a great day to be poor and unsuspecting, Mohg.
