New Star Wars Outlaws Gameplay Showcase Shows Off Open World And Reputation System

Thanks to Ubisoft Forward, gamers have even more reason to get excited for Star Wars Outlaws. A new gameplay preview shows off more of the game’s open-world exploration, reputation system, and how story decisions will change players’ standing with different factions.

Alongside all this, fans were also treated to a brand new trailer that opens with Kay Vess playing on an arcade machine before making her way to her ship. Some space combat and Tatooine also take the stage, giving fans a taste of how the notoriety system will work.

For players to improve their standing with any given faction, there will be optional fights players can participate in while travelling between plants. This should also offer a perfect chance to improve the reputation with factions if it falls too low—for whatever reason.

There will also be different ways for players to traverse the world, and we see Kay travelling not only on foot but also in a speeder. As far as exploration goes, each planet has its own system for players to explore and many opportunities to make a few credits.

Fans of Kay’s cutest companion in the galaxy, Nix, also got to see his scanning ability and how he can be used to highlight a foe ahead of the duo.
