It’s no secret that Shift Up’s new game, Stellar Blade, has caused a few raised eyebrows and sweaty palms when it comes to the lead protagonist, Eve.
Her eye-catching, skin-tight outfits and the use of “next-gen” physics have created a character that some would politely call easy on the eyes.
Add to the fact that the game’s director, Hyung-Tae Kim, said they paid “special attention” to the rear of Eve’s design and that “This is, after all, entertainment targeted for adults.” and it’s pretty apparent to admit that Eve was designed the way she was for a reason.
In the latest demo that was quickly removed from the PlayStation Store for being put up earlier than expected, one outfit quickly went viral—the Skin Suit.

However, the game will punish players who can’t control their urges and want to run around slaying enemies in, well, almost nothing.
The description from the in-game menu states:
“Skin suits are outfits crafted by Mother Sphere,” the description of the Skin Suit for Eve further reads. “It covers the body of the Airborne Squad Member and deploys on its own, or expands and contracts depending on the situation. In other words, it’s like a living skin.”
It then explains that Eve’s shield will be disabled when you have the skin suit equipped, making the game all that more difficult to play.

Gamers who have played Nier: Automata will remember a similar setup, where 2B would have their health dropped to 1HP if players were to remove her skirt.
