More Dungeons And More Dragons Coming Our Way

Obviously, Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro were not messing around when they said they would be investing more into the Dungeons and Dragons franchise after the success that was Baldur’s Gate 3.

In their latest expansion into the magical world of dice rolling, Wizards of the Coast have teamed up with Gameloft to create a new DnD game featuring unique cooperative gameplay built around an innovative hybrid of survival, life simulation and action RPG.

Gameloft is the team behind all the Asphalt games that come installed by default on your work laptop and, more recently, the wildly popular Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Using their experience from their latest life-simulation, action RPG hybrid, the studio plans to create a game that takes place in the Forgotten Realms, coincidentally, the same realms that Baldurs Gate 3 took place in.

All we currently have, though, is the announcement post from Gameloft saying that they are working on the game. The title, release date and anything else you could hope for are still bits of information that we’re yet to find out.

The wording from the announcement post gives off casual MMO-type vibes, and I can very easily see myself diving into a life-simulation game with added action and fiery dragon fights should I get bored of farming my mielies one morning.

Keep your eyes on NAG for any other information that pops up on this new DnD game.
