It still feels wrong to put down onto paper or screen that E3 has breathed its last breath and is, in fact, dead. However, you know what they say about one door closing and another opening; it turned out that the end of E3 was also the rise of Summer Game Fest.
Not only is Summer Game Fest in its prime, but the show will be returning on the 7th of June for another live-and-live-streamed show happening at the YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles.
It will again be a cross-platform live showcase of game announcements, trailers and more. While details on who will be in attendance or what will be shown off in the show are still under wraps, we know that the show will run for two hours and will showcase what’s next for video games.

Summer Game Fest is also not the only exciting event in June. Immediately after Summer Game Fest is Day of the Devs: SGF Edition, a showcase of incredible games by game developers from different backgrounds.
Are you excited for some good old live-streamed gaming events? We know we sure are.
