If you’re a member of the “Can’t wait for Titanfall 3 Club”, get excited. Respawn is making a new game in the Titanfall universe!
And, it’s just not Titanfall 3, supposedly.

According to Jeff Grubb on his Game Mess Mornings show, the new game that Steve Fukuda and his “small team” started working on last year is, in fact, a “Titanfall game”.
While the game will take place in the Titanfall universe, that doesn’t mean it will be Titanfall 3. Grubb says, “There are always conversations about Titanfall 3. Whenever I do look into it, they’re not making Titanfall 3. They just straight up aren’t”.
With the amount of work that has been put into the whole universe, from both the Apex Legends side and the Titanfall side, there is definitely a lot to use for a new storyline. However, it would be silly not to include giant hulking mech suits with more personality than Kirsten Stewart, especially since that’s what everyone is dying for.
With all the news of things getting cancelled left, right and centre, like Titanfall Legends or, more recently, EA cancelling the latest Star Wars game they were working on, we’ll really just take whatever we can get.
At least the word “Titanfall” seems to be featured in this new game from Fukuda.
