Nintendo Direct Airing Tomorrow Afternoon

Leakers and the like predicted the next Nintendo Direct was planned for last week Thursday, but an even more significant online event, the Xbox Podcast, pushed the date back.

Of course, most of us were sitting on the edge of our seats to hear exactly what was going to happen with Xbox exclusives, and, to no real fans’ surprise, nothing was fundamentally changed.

What Phil Spencer and his team did announce, though, was that there were some titles that would be moving to other platforms, and he would be leaving those announcements up to the developers.

Well, Nintendo has now officially announced their next Nintendo Direct will air tomorrow, the 21st of February, at 4 PM, and they’ve titled it a Partner Direct.

This leads us to believe we’ll be getting some sort of news about Xbox games coming to the Switch console. My money is on Hi-Fi Rush.

Nintendo says the broadcast will be 25 minutes long, so there will also be a lot more on show than just a single title from Xbox. You can catch the show on their YouTube channel.

Historically, I’ve always enjoyed a Nintendo Direct, even more so when it’s a Partner Direct featuring incredible indie titles that I can play on the go. Let’s hope it can keep the excitement up for Nintendo more so than the last news that came up, suggesting a delay in the release of the Nintendo Switch 2.
