From the get-go, we knew that Task Force X would grow beyond the initial four playable characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Rocksteady has been very open about their plans to release at least four new characters throughout the year, with none other than Joker making his debut in March.
However, except for Joker, not much is known about the other characters joining the squad, and fans have been left to grasp at straws and easter eggs to try and figure out who they might be.
Now, thanks to a slip-up by Brainiac himself, players might not need to try so hard to figure out who the second recruit will be.
A Reddit user by the name of ZeronityPlays shared a clip in the early hours of this morning showing Harley being taken down by a brute, which then triggers a voice line from Brainiac, seemingly directed at an unannounced villain:
“I didn’t expect you to be the weak link in this chain, Freeze.”
This single line has led many fans to believe that the next character after the Joker will be the famed Batman villain Mr. Freeze, or at least a version of Freeze.
Am I crazy or did Brainiac just call me Freeze

It’s worth noting that the reason we can get so many great characters in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is because they come from the Elseworld versions of Earth, which explains how we can get the Joker, despite him being dead in the Arkham series.
The voice line pointing to Freeze also correlates with a Twitter leak from earlier in the year that claimed Mr Freeze would not only be coming to the game but would be a woman named Victoria Fries.
I’m excited about Freeze joining the game, mainly because his traversal would be a lot of fun if implemented correctly. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League season 1 begins in March.
