Friends, foes and everyone in between, today is finally Friday, which means it’s the day of the week that you can race home from work while adhering to the legal speed limit, of course, put on your favourite lazy pants and play as many games as you want with very few consequences the next day.
It’s also the day of the week that you can head over to the Epic Game Store and download a game entirely for free – and who doesn’t love a free game?
For those who don’t already know, every Thursday or sometimes Friday, Epic Games Store makes a game, and sometimes, if you’ve been really, really good, two games are available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.
All gamers need to do to grab this fantastic gift from the gaming gods for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer and add it to their library. Forever.
Today, the Epic Games Store has Infinifactory available to snatch up until the 1st of February.
Infinifactory
[Get It Here]
Usually retailing for R191, Infinifactory is a sandbox puzzle game by Zachtronics, the creators of SpaceChem and Infiniminer.
Players will build factories that assemble products for their alien overlords while trying not to die in the process – some real low-stakes, building fun.
The game first debuted in 2015 and still holds an overwhelmingly positive review, with many reviews praising it for being a highly underrated puzzle game that feels immensely satisfying each time you pass a level.
Infinifactory is known for its challenging levels and for maintaining a solid feeling of fun throughout. While it’s not a game I’ve had on my radar before, it is one I’ll be sure to pick up and play now that it’s free.
If Infinifactory sounds like the game for you, remember to head to the Epic Games Store and add it to your library before the 1st of February, when the next free game goes live.
