Obsidian Entertainment has brought out some good RPGs over the years. From Pillars of Eternity to Fall Out: New Vegas, and even Outer Worlds. So, it makes sense that we would be keeping tabs on their new, upcoming fantasy RPG, Avowed.
Revealed in the January Xbox Direct was the announcement period for the game “Fall”, which we commonly know around these here parts as Spring.
Avowed is a fantasy RPG that takes in a world called the Living Lands. A plague has taken root, and it will be the player’s main objective to find out where it came from, why it exists, and to get rid of it. Throughout your journey, you will make choices that will shape your experience and enhance your story.
Check out the deep dive on the game from Obsidian Entertainment and find out how the team has been working to develop a game that gives users choices in not only how the story unfolds but also how to tackle combat in a multitude of ways—spell-slinging mage or face-smashing brute, or even a combination of the two. The choice is all yours.
Its first-person view and combat mechanics give off strong Elder Scrolls vibes, so if you’re in RPGs from our beloved Bethesda, then Avowed is more than likely something that will be right up your alley.
We’ll keep you all posted on any more Avowed news as the release date approaches, so keep your eyes peeled on NAGs news section for that and more.
