Thanks to some leaked screenshots, the cat might have jumped out of the bag last week, but now EA has confirmed that two new Sims 4 DLC kits will be dropping this week.
The kits in question are The Castle Estate Kit and Goth Galore Kit, both of which were themes that the community had voted on last year. The Castle kit is aimed at Simmers with an affliction for building. It will come with 25 different stone structure choices, including grand doorways, a portcullis, and several glass window options.
On the other hand, players who enjoy playing in Create-A-Sim can live out their best goth fantasies with the Goth kit. This kit will add 25 new clothing items, from a leather jacket to dresses, tops and even a full-body outfit.
While neither of these kits could be considered a full expansion, they aren’t meant to be. Kits are smaller DLC packs that customise Simmers’s experience with the game in small yet effective ways, and in that regard, these two packs should knock it out of the park.
The Castle Estate Kit and Goth Galore Kit will be the first DLCs for the Sims 4 to drop this year. EA will likely continue with this trend of asking the community to vote for the direction these stuff packs go in the future.
Both packs will drop on Thursday (tomorrow) and retail for R75 each.
P.S. If the images in this post seem low-res to you, it’s because they are. Blame leakers for never leaking the good 4K images.
