For those of you who only got access to the internet yesterday, every Thursday and sometimes Friday, Epic Games makes a new game, or sometimes, when you’re fortunate, two games are available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.
All gamers need to do to grab this gift from the gods for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer and add it to their library. Whatever you’ve redeemed is then yours to keep, to play or to add to an ever-growing list of games you mean to play but probably never will.
Epic is wholly in the Santa spirit this week and has not just one but TWO games for you to grab between now and the 7th of December, so what are you waiting for?
Jitsu Squad

Jitsu Squad is a game with Very Positive ratings that usually retails for R130 and sees players take place in a Marvel vs Capcom-inspired 4-player co-op tag team beat ’em up. Try saying that three times fast.
The game boasts epic character transformations and fast-paced combat, and those who have played it praise it for its silly art, unique concepts and the passion behind the game.
While the NAG team has yet to try this for ourselves, December might be the time to change that…
Mighty Fight Federation

Much like Jitsu Squad, Mighty Fight Federation also comes with Very Positive ratings and goes for about R175 (when Epic isn’t giving it to you for free).
It’s also a fighting game, but this one is a far easier to say, 4-player free-for-all. Slam opponents into walls, launch them into the air and follow up with fast, high-flying attacks.
The game comes with 13 different characters from other popular games to choose from, and each comes with its own playstyle.
As with Jitsu Squad, the NAG team is yet to go balls to the wall in this crazy arena fighter, but come holiday; you can bet we’ll be trying it out.
