It’s Friday, So Settle Down, Relax And Play Some Free Games From Epic

It’s finally Friday, so it’s time for Epic Game Store to make a good Halloween Santa Claus and give all the good boys and girls free games.

For those who don’t already know, every Thursday or sometimes Friday, Epic Games Store makes a game, and sometimes, if you’ve been very good, two games, available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.

All gamers need to do to grab this fantastic gift for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer and add it to their library. Forever.

Today, the Epic Games Store has two games, Earthlock and Surviving the Aftermath, up for grabs until the 23rd of November.

Earthlock

I rarely get to talk about one of my favourite games as part of these giveaways, but that is precisely what Earthlock is. Earthlock is a game that usually retails for R277 and is worth every penny.

It’s an adventure RPG heavily inspired by the 3D RPGs of the late 90s but with a fresh and modern take on turn-based combat and character progression.

It’s also a challenging game, despite what the cutesy art will have you believe. Also, Earthlock 2 releases in March 2024, so what better time to get all caught up than now?

Surviving the Aftermath
[Get It Here]

Surviving the Aftermath is one of those games I’ve always meant to try but never found the right time to, until now.

Usually selling for about R175, Surviving the Aftermath is a game with Mostly Positive reviews and lets players try to survive and thrive in a post-apocalyptic world where resources are scarce but hope lives.

Players will be trying to build a disaster-proof colony, protect them and slowly but surely restore a level of civilisation to this now devastated world.

If Earthlock or Surviving the Aftermath seems like the games for you, remember to head to the Epic Games Store and add it to your library before the 23rd of November, when the next free game or games go live.
