Hogwarts Legacy Switch Port Isn’t Fully Open World

I hope you’ve put your sick leave in Nintendo Switch gamers because the owls have set off, and your letter to Hogwarts should be arriving any minute now. For the rest of us, Hogwarts opened its doors in February. Still, now it’s time for the Nintendo players to be sorted into their houses.

However, the Hogwarts that Switch players will be venturing into will be slightly different from the version other gamers got to explore; notably, it won’t be a fully open-world game. To celebrate the game’s much-anticipated release on the Switch, a new video was shared to give gamers a deeper look at the technical aspects of the Hogwarts Legacy port.

And while visually, the game looks pretty good, the video confirmed that the Switch version won’t offer a full open-world experience. Instead, exploring witches and wizards will face a new evil – loading screens.

Not only will players face constant load screens while exploring, but there will also be loading screens whenever entering the shops scattered throughout Hogsmead.

But loading screens aside, Hogwarts Legacy remains one of our favourite games released in 2023, so seeing how the Switch version holds up will be interesting.

But now we want to know whether you will try out the Switch port? Let us know in the comments.
