The Sims 4 Just Announced A New Expansion, And Boy, Oh Boy, Does It Look Like Fun

Attention all Simmers! A new expansion for The Sims 4 is on the horizon, and boy, oh boy, does it look fun.

Just when you thought that The Sims 4 already had all the content players could want and need, EA announces The Sims 4 For Rent expansion.

The Sims 4 For Rent lets players become property owners and run their own apartment buildings or even become a tenant in an already established complex or duplex.

And if that wasn’t enough to excite you, the For Rent expansion even introduces an entirely new way for your Sims to die – mould.

Overall, The Sims 4 For Rent Expansion will add loads of changes to how homes can be divided within buildings, from basement rentals to duplexes or even the ability to run several apartments on one lot.

The expansion will also come with a new location, the city of Tomarang, which offers players some bustling nightlife and a Night Market.

Some of the new features that players can expect from the expansion are:

A New Lot Type

Residential Rental lots can allow multiple families to live in the same lot through rental units, duplexes, or apartments. Sims can become landlords or live as tenants in apartments.

Property Management

Sims can be property owners and live on-site as property managers next to their tenants or live in a separate location. They must keep the rental property’s Unit Ratings high by keeping things working and clean. Otherwise, a Tenant Revolt or mouldy deaths could occur.

New Interactions

Closer living quarters mean more interactions and chances for eavesdropping, snooping, and breaking and entering.

The Sims 4 For Rent Expansion is available for pre-order now and will launch officially on the 7th of December.
