The rumours have been swirling for a while now. Still, now it’s official: Disney Dreamlight Valley will be incorporating multiplayer in December.
During the latest digital showcase for the game, all kinds of updates were revealed, including an expansion, new realms and villagers, and, of course, multiplayer.
Called ValleyVerse, the multiplayer for Disney Dreamlight Valley will let players visit each other’s islands, homes, and Scrooge McDuck’s store. Players will also be able to trade items and help each other finish off quests, as well as invite up to three friends to play together.
During the digital showcase, Gameloft also spoke about A Rift In Time, the first expansion for the game, which will add a new explorable area, characters, and story quests when it arrives on the 5th of December, alongside ValleyVerse.
However, not all the updates revealed during the showcase were good. It was also revealed that instead of going free-to-play on launch as previously announced, the game will remain paid. However, how that will be structured is yet to be announced.
