Diablo IV Offers In-game Rewards And Liquid Cooled PC Infused with Real Human Blood

Blizzard takes the new Season of Blood from Diablo IV to realistic levels by offering in-game rewards and a PC Sweepstakes for the community when they offer up their blood to Lord Zir.

Players in the US can donate their own blood to any blood donation centre and then take their proof of donation and add it to the blood pool. Once certain levels are reached, in-game rewards will be unlocked for all Diablo IV players, whether you donated or not.

The campaign goal is 666 quarts of blood, that’s about 600 litres of the red stuff. When goal markers reach 33%, players will unlock Tier 1, the weapons tier, gaining the following cosmetics:

  • Dagger: Bloodpetal Anlace
  • Axe: Bloodpetal Sever
  • Necromancer Focus: Bloodpetal Heart
  • Sword: Bloodpetal Blade
  • Druid Staff: Bloodpetal Bludgeon

At 66% of the goal reached, players will unlock Tier 2, a barbarian cosmetic:

  • The Loch Raeth Maor Barbarian Armor Cosmetic

At 100% of the goal reached, players will unlock Tier 3, a mount and a sweepstakes competition for a limited edition PC:

  • The Vermilion Eye Piebald Mount

The PC will be quite a beast in terms of specs, packing an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, an Intel Core i9-13900K, 64 GB of DDR5 RAM, 3 TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD storage, and comes in a signature Diablo red/black colour palette with custom Season of Blood graphics, but here’s the kicker: The PC will be liquid cooled by real human blood! Talk about invoking your inner Angelina.

The campaign will run until the 22nd of November, and all rewards will be added to players’ libraries once the campaign ends. If the 666 quarts goal is met, the sweepstakes will also kick-off. Unfortunately, the sweepstakes is only taking place in the US, but let’s be honest, this is a great way to get gamers to donate blood. Here’s looking at you, SANBS. Would you donate blood if this campaign launched in SA? Let us know.

Currently, the goal is sitting at 25%. You can check out the progress and the rest of the FAQ over at diablobloodharvest.com.
