The latest of Sony’s blockbuster games to be ported for PC players is Horizon: Forbidden West, which will be available in early 2024 as its Complete Edition. This means that when it arrives on PC, players will have access to the Burning Shores DLC, bonus in-game items, game soundtrack and art book.
Horizon: Forbidden West is the much-loved sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn and is a continuation of the first game, with Ashly Burch returning to voice Aloy, as she races to save the planet’s crumbling biosphere before vicious storms and a mysterious, unstoppable blight ravages what’s left of humanity.
The port is coming to PC from Nixxes, which is the same studio that handled previous Sony ports like Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
Horizon: Forbidden West was released for PlayStation 5 in February of last year, meaning the PC port will be arriving almost exactly two years after it first launched, which keeps to what former Sony boss Jim Ryan had previously stated, that PC players would be receiving ports of PlayStation games after two or three years of PlayStation exclusivity.
Now we want to know if you are excited to finally play Horizon: Forbidden West on PC. Let us know in the comments.
