This coming Sunday marks the 10th anniversary of everyone’s favourite game, Grand Theft Auto V, and to celebrate the game still thriving all these years later across multiple consoles and generations, Rockstar has a new update for GTA Online.
From today onwards, GTA Online will offer a trio of outfits inspired by the three main characters from Grand Theft Auto 5, some themed weapon finishes, bonuses on classic modes, gameplay and more.
Here’s a short rundown of everything we know and what you can expect when logging into the game this weekend.
Players can now dress up as Grand Theft Auto’s three lead characters thanks to new outfits reminiscent of classic looks for Michael, Franklin, and Trevor.
If you want these outfits to be yours, log in by September 27 to unlock The Retired Criminal, The Homie, and The Groupie outfits.
Players can also grab a custom-themed Employee of the Month finish for the Micro SMG, Suede Bucks finish for the Carbine Rifle, and Uncle T finish for the RPG Launcher.
Players can also pay tribute to two of Los Santos’ most infamous career criminals. Lamar Davis and Trevor Philips, each with a reputation and a rap sheet a country mile long, are dealing a whopping quadruple GTA$ and RP for aiding and abetting their schemes in Lamar and Trevor Contact Missions this week.
Team up with GTAV’s Franklin Clinton and help retrieve the legendary Dr. Dre’s cache of unreleased songs before they go viral in The Data Leaks. Earn Double Rewards for laying life and limb on the line.
Come Out to Play is bigger than ever. Side with the heavily armed Runners and make a mad dash to safety, or ride them down with the Hunters on Sanchez bikes. This classic GTA Online mode pays 3X GTA$ and RP all week.
This week also showcases seven fan-favourite player creations featured during the inaugural year of the Community Series.
Players can fight back waves of the undead atop The Diamond Casino & Resort, snipe foes across a post-apocalyptic vision of Los Santos, and more as these legendary Jobs take centre stage.
The player creations featured are:
Zombie Survival by The_Amazing_Zeph
w_ Kart Land by wimpendahl
Black And Yellow by EggsAndJam
Yukaringo Palace & Chamber by eArly4u
Cabmaggedon by Vill3m
Apocalypse by VoltycQc
