It’s almost time for the masses to start exploring galaxies far, far away with Starfield, now only days away from takeoff. To make your liftoff smooth and painless, we’ve put together some helpful guides to start you off on the right interstellar path.
Starfield is a game filled with narrative choices and a story focused on the one faction in the game that you’ll have no choice but to join – Constellation.
It’s also a game where money, or credits, will make or break the entire experience. Completing side quests for Constellation is an excellent ticket to credits.

Mission Boards are a type of kiosk that can be found scattered throughout all the significant settlements as well as just hidden in some weird and relatively obscure places.
However, what is rare to find is faction-specific Mission Boards – which are boards that focus on a particular faction’s goals and quests.
There are clear differences between the different factions’ mission boards – because the quests and playstyles for each faction differ significantly. For example, Constellation missions focus primarily on surveys and searches for anomalies.
The Crimson Fleet missions are prate-esque and will send players off on raids and missions to hijack ships. UC Vanguard takes more of a defensive stance. It will send players off to battle against enemy starships, including Crimson Fleet pirates, and the Freestar Collective will more than likely send players off to settle disputes that often arrive in these times.

Some spots where you’re guaranteed a faction-specific Mission Board are:
The Lodge – For Constellation
UC Vigilance – For UC Vanguard
Akila City – For Freestar
The Key – For Crimson Fleet
Neon – For Ryujin
Now we want to hear from you. Have you been playing Starfield, and if so, which faction do you most enjoy helping out? Let us know in the comments.
