It’s the happiest of all Fridays – the Friday when we get paid, which means it’s time to get ready for the weekend while riding that high of being richer today than you were yesterday. And it’s also time to head over to Epic Game Store and download a game for free.
For those who don’t already know, every Thursday or sometimes Friday, Epic Games Store makes a game available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free.
All gamers need to do to grab this fantastic gift for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game or games on offer and add it to their library. Forever.
Today, the Epic Games Store offers a good one – Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, available to grab until the 31st of August.
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
[Get It Here]
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak is a ground-based RTS prequel to the classic Homeworld games. Players must assemble fleets and lead them to victory across the shifting sands of Kharak.
The fleets players can control consist of both land and air vehicles, from elegant and light attack variants to massive heavyweight cruisers and using these. Players will need to fight across huge dune seas, deep craters, and hostile canyons in sprawling maps.
The game also has options to either play the campaign as a single-player or compete online alone or with friends across various game modes, including ranked, to become the most powerful Fleet Captain on Kharak.
If Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak sounds like the game for you, head to the Epic Games Store and add it to your library before the 31st of August, when the next free game goes live.
