Fans of the Little Nightmare franchise are about to have a very good day. Little Nightmare 3 has just been confirmed at Gamescom with a shiny trailer that revealed co-op to be a key gameplay mechanic this time around.
The reveal trailer gives fans an exciting look at what’s in store for the latest entry into the franchise. Like the previous two games, players must traverse massive, twisted environments, solving puzzles and battling to survive the journey.
Only this time, there is a co-op element as well. In the trailer, two characters, each with their own unique weapons, can be seen holding hands and helping each other journey through the hazardous world.

But those wanting to go at it alone once again don’t need to worry. Little Nightmares 3 will have two protagonists, allowing players to play alone, with an AI partner, or online multiplayer co-op with a friend.
The game will be released sometime in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S/
