A Stardew Valley Cookbook, Co-Authored By Eric Barone, Coming To Kitchens Soon

Over the years, some great cookbooks have come out for video gamers and geeks alike, with World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy 14, and even Bob’s Burgers all getting this treatment – and now the Official Stardew Valley Cookbook will soon be joining the ranks.

Anyone who has spent an hour, or two or a hundred in Stardew Valley already knows that a considerable part of the game is about setting up crops, caring for animals and trying to establish a supply line so you can make that chocolate cake that Abigail has been craving.

Now, foodies and Stardew Valley fans alike can replicate some of that magic in their homes thanks to some official recipes from Stardew Valley creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone.

Set to release sometime in April 2024, the Official Stardew Valley Cookbook features over fifty recipes accompanied by original illustrations and all organised by season – much like the yare in the game.

Some recipes confirmed so far include Farmer’s Lunch in the spring, crab cakes in the summer, and pumpkin soup for fall.

While video game cookbooks aren’t uncommon, it is rare for the creator of the game in question to be directly involved, making this one much more special.

When the cookbook releases next year, will you be cooking up some Stardew Valley delicacies? Let us know in the comments.
