For those that are hyped about the Ghostrunner 2 launch coming later this year, you may get the opportunity to be part of the closed beta if you manage to secure one of the limited slots.
This closed beta sign-up comes hand-in-hand with a teaser announcement from 505 Games saying that they will reveal something “major” on the 21st of August, which is just before Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The team has also given us a handy little story recap video so that we don’t dive straight into the sequel without remembering what we did in the past.
We know that Ghostrunner 2 will feature combat from the back of Jack’s new bike, the progression system has been updated to allow for a more customised playthrough, and we’ll be facing a “violent cyber ninja AI cult”.
Of course, players will also still be able to create crazy, speed-running playthroughs of the levels and have their names in lights across the top of the leaderboards.
