John Cena is a man of many talents. From being a WWE superstar to becoming a hugely popular actor and a meme staple, it was only a matter of time before Cena made his way into video games.
With Blizzard creating hype for its upcoming Season 6 update, John Cena has been revealed as Overwatch 2’s Enigma. Along with this reveal came a fake hero kit and a mockup of The Enigma in the hero gallery.
Blizzard has been going all out with the Enigma marketing campaign. Over the last few days, popular Twitch streamers have been “hacked” by a mysterious figure known as the Enigma, who has now been revealed to be played by John Cena.
It’s unclear if The Enigma will be seen outside of the marketing campaign, but Blizzard has announced he won’t be a playable character – however, that didn’t stop Blizzard from dreaming.
Blizzard has now taken to social media to give fans an idea of what a playable Enigma would look like on posts filled to the brim with John Cena-themed jokes – including The Engima not having a character portrait, playing into the joke that John Cena is invisible to the naked eye.

The list of abilities that the Enigma could have is also amusing, with John Cena being able to distract his opponents by dancing, cancelling Ultimates by blasting his theme song and using his iconic WWE You Can’t See Me taunt.

These mockups are just for fun, and with Season 6 just around the corner, fans have plenty to look forward to when the update drops, including a brand-new Support Hero.
