The upcoming 1.1.1 patch for Diablo 4 will feature a fix for the ongoing performance issues plaguing the PC version of the game right now. Diablo 4 has had its share of problems lately, but the biggest is Diablo 4’s ongoing VRAM leak issues.
This issue is exclusive to the PC version and results in performance issues affecting the gameplay and hampering the game’s playability.
The VRAM issues persist, even when playing the game at low settings. However, Blizzard has now put out a statement clearing the air.
Adam Fletcher, the Community lead for Blizzard Entertainment, confirmed last night that patch 1.1.1 would address the Diablo 4 VRAM management issues, which the team will continue monitoring and managing once the update goes live.
It’s worth remembering that Diablo 4 is still new, and the first Season has just launched, so teething issues are to be expected. Still, the community will be much happier once Blizzard can get the game’s PC version to perform on the same level as its console counterparts.
Diablo 4 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
