Since the first trailer for Ubisoft’s upcoming and highly-anticipated open-world Star Wars game was released in June, players have been on the edge of their seats in anticipation of everything it might hold.
Unlike the Star Wars games that have come before, Star Wars Outlaws puts the players into the shoes of Kay Vess, a smuggler and bounty hunter navigating the galactic underworld.
And now, thanks to a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, fans have even more to be excited about. Players will be able to do business with one of the most iconic crime lords from the franchise. More specifically, it was revealed that not only will players be able to visit Mos Eisley and Tatooine in the game, which is exciting in itself, but they will also be able to work with or betray Jabba the Hutt.
Star Wars Outlaws takes place between Episode 5 and Episode 6, and players will see Han Solo encased in carbonite during their dealings with Jabba in the game.
It’s also worth noting that helping Jabba would not be without consequences, as the game will feature a reputation system, giving players discounted prices, exclusive quests, and even access to new areas.
Star Wars Outlaws is set to release sometime in 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
