You can’t deny that the Japanese aesthetic is fantastic. To this day it’s still around in daily culture, from tattoos to in-home decor. Now it’s coming to a survival, crafting sim.
Sengoku Dynasty is a settlement building and crafting game set in feudal Japan. You’ll need to gather resources, craft items and build your city, just like in any other survival crafter, but Sengoku adds a lot more focus to the dynasty-building aspect of the game.
While most survival sims will have your character work their way to the top, Sengoku is attempting to get the player to create a whole dynasty, from the first log on your first hut to a complete village sprawling with life.
The developers, Superkami, haven’t given us too much detail, but the game will be hitting early access on Steam on the 10th of August, we can expect a lot more information to follow around that time.
For now, the early access will give players the ability to play the game in both co-op and solo modes, the ability to build up your village and, best of all, create your own personal katana, in epic Unreal 5 graphics.
You can wishlist the game over on Steam while you sharpen your blades and prepare yourself for feudal Japan in Sengoku Dynasty.
