GTX 1650 Still The Most Popular GPU According Steam Survey

Steam runs a voluntary hardware survey every month that users can opt into. The information extracted from this monthly survey is then compiled and published, giving insight into what the average Steam user is running.

Steam has now released the results of its July 2023 survey. It’s worth remembering that some data fluctuation is expected, considering the survey is conducted voluntarily.

This month’s results show that while the RTX 3060 was knocked down to third place last month, the graphics card has returned to a second-place slot. However, the RTX 3060 Laptop GPU has fallen from third place to fourth, getting replaced by the GTX 1060.

July is also the second month that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 has held the number-one spot as the most popular GPU among Steam users.

While the GPU market is highly competitive and majorly dominated by NVidia hardware, when it comes to processors, Intel has maintained a lead over AMD for months already. The data shows that most Steam users use an Intel CPU with speeds between 2.3GHz and 2.69GHz.
