Nintendo has just announced its follow-up to the award-winning 2017 game, 1-2 Switch. With that announcement was a release date of 30 June.
Everybody 1-2 Switch will again be a same-room, multiplayer party-based game. Still, as of now, Nintendo has remained entirely tight-lipped on what type of mini-games players can expect when the game launches.
According to the eShop listing for Everybody 1-2 Switch, the game will be playable using both Joy-Con controllers, smart devices or a combination of both. Those looking to play the game with compatible smart devices as controllers must ensure they have a Nintnedo account and internet access.
#Everybody12Switch is coming to #NintendoSwitch on 6/30.

This announcement is the first we’ve heard about Everybody 1-2 Switch since Fanbyte reported that the game was in development back in 2022 but that Nintendo was holding back on releasing it because internal testing showed that the mini-games available at that stage were overly simple and not entertaining enough.
Everybody 1-2 Switch is available to pre-order by following the link here and has a price tag of R523.
