Microsoft has announced yet another day-one release for its Xbox Game Pass service. Fans of the service have been eagerly waiting for Microsoft to announce all the new games set to come in the second half of June. Still, while Microsoft has been mute on that front, they have announced which games will be leaving and a new day-one addition.
DJ Max Respect V, Empire of Sin, Matchpoint: Tennis Championships, Omori, Olija, and Road 96 are all set to leave the Xbox Game Pass service on the 30th of June and while its always sad to see games removed from the Xbox Game Pass lineup it does mean we’ll be getting a fresh new roundup of games to replace them.
The first of these replacement games are arriving on Thursday: The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales. For those who have yet to hear of the game, The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales is a story-driven game where players travel from the real world to the fictional worlds of books to collect items.
It’s always exciting when Xbox Game Pass adds a day-one release. The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales was one of the ten Game Pass indie games confirmed as part of the extended version of the Xbox Games Showcase, and it has a highly distinctive look and feel from what we’ve seen in the trailer.
Will you check out the game when it releases on the service this Thursday? Let me know in the comments below.
