Tower of Fantasy Coming to PlayStation

Tower of Fantasy has been out for a little under a year now, and the Perfect World team behind the game have decided that PlayStation needs a little more sci-fi fantasy in its life.

On the 8th of August Tower of Fantasy will be available to play, for free, on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Of course, there are a few pre-order packages available that you can buy in the meantime since it is a gacha game and all.

Spending R1,789 on a free-to-play game sounds a bit “nut tea” to me, but then I look at my LoL account and I’m immediately silenced by my own thoughts. You do you boo.

The downside of the game coming to the blue side is that the servers will run independently from the current PC, Android and iOS servers. This means that if you already play ToF on any of these platforms you will not get to carry your progress over to PlayStation. It also means that PlayStation players will only be able to play with other PlayStation players. Bit of a weird call considering the game is an open world MMORPG that should be encouraging growth in the player base, but hey, maybe it’s planned for the future.

If you’re a new player though, maybe this is the perfect opportunity to grab a new, beautiful, anime open-world MMORPG game peppered with fantasy and sprinkled with sci-fi. It does look like a lot of fun.
