Destiny 2 Players Frustrated By Season Of The Deep Challenge

Over the past few days, Twitter has been alive with Destiny 2 players taking to the platform to try and voice their frustration at the Season of the Deep challenge that has arrived in the game. Most of this frustration stems from the painfully low odds at which treasure-laden combatants spawn in Destiny 2’s Salvage activity, making the challenge near-impossible to complete.

Each Season, Destiny 2 adds many new activities for its community to participate in and enjoy. This season, known as Season of the Deep, is no different. In Season of the Deep, players have been tasked with recovering Golden Age tech for the Drifter while facing off against the Hive.

One of the seasonal achievements associated with this season is called Salvage Treasurer, and to get it, players need to kill two treasure-laden combatants during the activity. However, this achievement is seemingly a real challenge; some might even say unobtainable.

As a result, players have taken to Reddit to voice their frustrations at the Salvage Treasurer triumph. The odds of this enemy appearing are so low that many players believe the elusive enemies haven’t even been released in the game yet.

According to Reddit, the chance of encountering this particular type of enemy is currently less than 10%, which wouldn’t be as frustrating if it wasn’t an achievement that needed to be completed during the limited-time event.

But now I want to know from the Desity 2 players reading this, what do you think about the Salvage Treasurer triumph? Does the struggle make it more rewarding, or do you dislike that the game has stacked all of these odds against you? Let me know in the comments.
