Stasis: Bone Totem Is A South African Point-And-Click Adventure Game

It’s always a good day when we can cover a game that’s a little closer to home. While Stasis: Bone Totem is set at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, and that might not sound all that close, it is a game developed by a South African team.

For those who don’t know, Stasis: Bone Totem is a follow-up to 2015’s Stasis that came straight from the minds and creativity of a South African game development studio, The Brotherhood.

Stasis: Bone Totem is a point-and-click isometric horror game that takes place at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Players take on the role of Mac and Charlie, scavengers on a mission to search the deep sea for valuable scrap, when they discover a secret that Cayne Corporation will do anything to keep hidden.

So basically, your typical horror game setup. The game has two other big names attached to it as well. Those names are sci-fi author J. Barton Mitchell who worked as the lead writer, and Mark Morgan, who composed the score, as well s the first two soundtracks for the Fallout games.

The game was released on the 31st of May over on Steam and GoG, and if you want to check it out, you can follow the link here.

Now we want to know if you are excited to check out a South African-made game. Let us know in the comments.
