Thursdays are usually the day of the week reserved for getting all excited for free games, but why not spread the excitement a little and give Wednesday a nice boost too?
The reason Thursdays are objectively the best day of the week is that that’s the day that Epic Games Store channels its inner fairy godmother and delivers free games to all the Cinderellas who want nothing more than something new to play, and much like Cinderella, this offer also expires at midnight.
Swinging by Epic Games Store on Thursdays is a great way to build up your library of games you probably won’t get around to playing but have the option to if the mood ever strikes.
Here’s how it works:
Every Thursday, Epic Games Store makes a new game available for players to download and add to their libraries for free. Forever. It’s a super simple system too.
All gamers need to do to grab this gift for themselves is log into their Epic account, redeem the game on offer and add it to their library. Forever.
This week the game Epic Games Store offers is a personal favourite, Fallout: New Vegas, and it’s available to download until tomorrow.
Fallout: New Vegas is an oldie but a goody, first released in 2010. The game follows the standard Fallout structure that gamers know and love. Players will find themselves battling across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon-drenched Vegas Strip.
Players can choose sides in upcoming wars or declare that the winner takes all in this follow-up to Fallout 3.
The version of Fallout: New Vegas gamers will get via Epic is the Ultimate Edition and includes the base game as well as all of the additional downloadable content, which consists of four narrative expansions: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road.
If you want to take advantage of this deal, then make sure you follow the link here to download it before tomorrow.
