Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Players Frustrated After Yesterday’s Update

Don’t you love it when you download an update for a game with the expectation that your experience will be improved somehow, only to have everything break and feel worse than before? Well, if you do, I highly suggest downloading the latest Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

However, you may want to hold off on the update if you woke up this morning and didn’t choose violence and misery. To bring you up to speed, yesterday, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s developer released a new update that was supposed to address many of the bug fixes players have been waiting for; Instead, it introduced more bugs.

According to yesterday’s patch notes, the latest update was supposed to fix issues regarding screen flickering, client freezes, visual effect bugs and weapon blueprints not working, among other things.

Unfortunately, the patch notes didn’t cover that the latest update caused low frame rates in the game, making it almost impossible to scroll through the in-game menus or worse, aim.

Unfortunately for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players, if the past is anything to go by, they will have to suck it up and live with this new bug, or feature if you will, until the subsequent update because Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hasn’t set an excellent track record for prioritising issues.

Now we want to know if you play the game, and if so, have you been having a hard time since yesterday’s update? Let us know.
