Pokemon GO Announces A New Legendary, But Players Aren’t All That Happy About It’s Debut

And just like that, Niantic has officially revealed the release date for the long-awaited and much-anticipated debut of legendary Pokemon, Regieleki, in Pokemon GO. However, not everyone is happy about the news.

During Season 10 of Pokemon GO, players saw the debut of Regidrago, the Dragon-type member of the Legendary Titans, the group of Pokemon created by Regigigas, also known as Regis. Now, Pokemon GO will add another member of the Regi family to the game.

In the early hours of this morning, it was revealed that Regieleki would debut in Pokemon GO. The Electric-type Pokemon will be available in Elite Raids. However, there is one small catch that has many players around the world feeling angry and confused.

The Raids will be available to participate on the 9th of April at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., which has many up in arms that Niantic would schedule the event for one day only and then have that one day fall directly over Easter.

It remains to be seen if fans’ overly adverse reaction to having a significant Raid fall over Easter Day will push Niantic to move the event to another day or if they’ll just ignore the outcry.
