There is nothing quite like the thrill of receiving free games, and the games that Sony has for its April PlayStation Plus line-up are pretty damn great, with all three games coming with both their PS4 and PS5 versions and a day-one release forming part of the offerings.
In April, gamers who are subscribed to Sony’s PlayStation Plus service will receive Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Meet Your Maker, and Tails of Iron, all of which will go live on the 4th of April and stay that way until the 2nd of May, giving gamers plenty of time to claim these titles to their PlayStation libraries.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure
Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a platformer game set in the LittleBigPlanet franchise. The game launched alongside the PS5 in 2020. While the previous games in the franchise were all 2.5D platformers, Sackboy: A Big Adventure includes full 3D movement.
Meet Your Maker
Meet Your Maker is the new game from the developers of Dead by Daylight. The game is a post-apocalyptic building-and-raiding multiplayer game driven by community creations. Players must raid others, upgrade their arsenal, and more to save life on Earth.
Tails of Iron
Tails of Iron is a souls-like indie game with hand-drawn art and definitively brutal combat. Players must reclaim their thrown as the protagonist, Redgi the Rat, by assembling companions and defeating the Frog Clan.
As always, these aren’t the only free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers to get excited about for April. Within the first two weeks of April, Sony will announce the next set of free games for the Essential Tier and its new line-up of Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2023.
