Diablo 4 Beta Area Is Only A Tiny Part Of The Full Game’s Map

Over the last two weekends, players have had the chance to delve into the world of Diablo 4 thanks to a pre-order early access weekend and then an open beta event. Throughout these two weekends, players have been able to explore much of the game’s first act, and the area was pretty damn big.

Now, thanks to an image that hit Reddit showing the entire map of the upcoming action RPG, many players have found themselves shocked by how small the beta area is compared to the entirety of the map.

The beta event was only open for a limited time and level capped players at 25. Even so, the world has been a blast to explore, and there needed to be more time to get through all of the available beta quests and events. If you’re curious, you can read our first impressions of the game here.

Back to the map, in an image that has popped up on Reddit, fans can get an idea of how big the final map will be upon launch. While the picture doesn’t contain details like location names or clear boundaries, fans have taken it upon themselves to mark out where the eta area is on the map.

The general reaction to this image has been positive among fans, who are excited to see how vast the map is compared to the area they had access to earlier this month. Fans have also used this to speculate on possible expansions for the game and the locations that could still be added, and you can dive into some of these theories by following the link to the Reddit page.

Diablo 4 will release on June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
