Wednesday was International Women’s Day and we here at NAG wanted to do something special to not only acknowledge all the amazing women gamers who help make the community the amazing place that it is but also to give our readers the chance to spread some love because we could all use a little extra.
So we partnered with the legends over at Apex Interactive to give one special woman the chance to walk away with both a Turtle Beach Recon Spark headset as well as a PowerA Xbox controller as a way of showing our love.
The mechanic to win was simple, we asked you, our dear readers, to tag your ride and die, the woman in your life that makes gaming what it’s supposed to be, fun – and you guys responded in the most amazing way possible.
Over the last few days, we’ve been inundated with tags and comments from you all. Best friends were tagging each other, siblings, partners and even gaming friends who have never met in person and mothers.
It’s been heartwarming, to say the least, and I don’t think when we sat down and created this competition on Wednesday we could have expected the loving and amazing response you would all have to it.
But now, without making ourselves any more emotional than we already are, here goes nothing…
