First Actual Look At Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Gameplay Footage Is Here

Something you might not know about me is that I love comics. I love comics so much that I’m in ridiculous debt because of it, don’t do as I did, kids. Of all the things I love in life, gaming, horror, collecting, comics might be what I love most.

However, that being said, I don’t have much time for comic book games… usually. One would think that two worlds and two interests coming together would be magical, and for all intents and purposes, it should be. But much like sequels, the reality is often disappointing – across all fronts.

Which is why I’ve never really allowed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League to be on my radar until now. Thanks to last night’s State of Play event from Sony, we have our first full gameplay showcase for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and against my better judgement, it actually looks pretty great.

And sure, there was some gameplay footage in the game’s second trailer, but this time, the footage was unedited, and we even got to see the HUD. The footage includes everything you’d want to see in a combat-based superhero game, from impossible air-based combat to Wonder Woman facing off against the Flash. It was exhilarating.

We also got to see a few character customisation options and finer details on how each character will play. The game is set five years after the events of Arkham Knight. Players will face off against iconic characters who have been corrupted, like the Flash, Superman and Batman.
