The Skyrim Together Team Is Working To Bring Multiplayer To Hogwarts Legacy

One of the benefits of playing games on PC has always been the thriving modding community, so when it came to Hogwarts Legacy, it was only a matter of time until the mods started rolling in. Now, the team behind the beloved Skyrim Together Reborn multiplayer mod have begun working on a mod to address the most requested feature for Hogwarts Legacy: Multiplayer.

HogWarp is the answer to many players’ prays and is a multiplayer mod for Hogwarts Legacy. HogWarp, much like Skyrim Together, is designed to allow players to play and explore the game together, which would be great, not gonna lie.

The mod isn’t just a pipe dream either; the team already has a prototype for HogWarp focused on co-op and roleplay. The team’s goal is to enable up to eight people to play together.

“Our aim is to figure out how to do the basics such as spawning characters with the player’s appearance, animations and NPCs. We are not going to create any multiplayer specific content ourselves, we want to provide a stable framework so that people can enjoy the vanilla game and maybe extend it themselves later on.” – Yamashi from Skyrim Together.

A test build of HogWarp is currently available to Yamashi’s Patreon subscribers. As far as an official release goes, Yamashi aims to release a proof of concept to everyone within the next month. He also confirmed that it would be an open-source mod, allowing users to do whatever they like with it.
