Among us is an online multiplayer social deduction game in which players take on one of two roles, crewmates or the imposters out to kill them.
While the game was released in 2018, it rose to fame at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when a lot of people were gaming and watching streamers from home.
A Virtual Reality version of the game, Among Us VR, was released in November last year, and the team behind it has just confirmed how popular the game has become. They have sold over 1 million units in just two months since launch, making it one of the best-selling VR games around.
The team has also revealed some impressive states since their launch on the 10th of November.

• Averages 44,000 matches per day
• More than 89,100,000 minutes have been dedicated to tasks, sabotages, and betrayal
• The game is played in 122 different countries
Among Us has also been incredibly popular on social media platforms like TikTok where gamers have been making funny videos out of scaring other players.
A road map was also revealed by the Among Us VR team in December last year, showing a sneak peek at upcoming updates and it seems that this game is only going to get better.
