Epic Games has confirmed that the Dead Space crossover is now live in Fortnite, with Isaac Clark available as a playable character. The Strange Transmissions Quest Pack will set you back R144.00, which is worth it provided you complete the quests to get the 1,500 V-Bucks. The Fortnite crossover comes ahead of the launch of EA’s Dead Space remake which is due out this Friday.
The Strange Transmissions Quest Pack includes the following:
- Isaac Clarke Outfit
- RIG Back Bling – a personalised life-monitoring system.
- USG Ishimura Back Bling – a portable planet cracker.
- Plasma Cutter Pickaxe – Specialised mining tool
- Bench Upgrade Emote
- Strange Transmissions Quest Bundle: Unlock up to 1,500 V-Bucks as you complete Quests
Fortnite also has a similar quest pack for the same price, Inferno’s Quest Pack, which also offers a number of cosmetics and quests to unlock 1,500 V-Bucks. It’s not a bad deal when comparing that to just buying V-Bucks outright.
For R239.99 you can purchase 2,800 V-Bucks, whereas if you were to buy both packs for R288.00 and complete the quests you would get 3,000 V-Bucks as well as the Dead Space and Inferno cosmetics, nice!
