Many elements come together to make rAge Expo what it is, from the gamers to the geeks to the organisers, staff, LANners, exhibitors and, of course, the Artist Alley. Since 2009 (a whopping THIRTEEN years ago), Artist Alley has been a beloved staple of the rAge experience.
Back when it was first created, the idea was to give local artists and creators a platform to proudly showcase their talents and allow them to get to know and network with other like-minded people. Not only was this great for the creators themselves but also for the people attending rAge, who were suddenly exposed to a world many didn’t even know existed.
Artist Alley has always attracted a large variety of creative talents, from traditional artists to digital artists, crafters, designers and writers who have pulled together over the years to raise funds for charities such as the Husky Romy Wolf Sanctuary. The Artist Alley is organised and managed by LegionEventSA, who help make it possible for many creatives to turn their passions into full-time businesses.

Artificial Ink
Run by two self-professed geeks who love anything and everything art, Artificial Ink aims to provide custom geeky goodness to their customers.
At rAge, Artificial Ink will showcase their custom-printed high-quality gaming mouse mats and some custom prints of their favourite games and anime.

J.B. Curiosities is a purveyor of one-of-a-kind fantasy sculptures, unique jewellery containing ethically sourced bones and bugs, and various flora, artistically put together to cater for all inclinations.

No Reason Clothing
No Reason Clothing is a uniquely South African clothing brand. All of their products are not only made locally, but they are also hand-screened and hand-sewn.
Over the last while, they have expanded their range from T-shirts to bags, book covers, pouches, jewellery, keyrings, stickers and patches.

Shaylin Singh Art is a pencil artist who also incorporates digital media to create images that are focused on geek culture.
Gaming is a big part of Shaylin’s life; they enjoy creating detailed works of characters from their favourite games.
