Call of Duty: Warzone’s killer door has been stopped, for now

An exit from the Karst River Salt Mines facility on Verdansk alleged to be responsible for a series of murders has been apprehended by a game update. “I had no clue,” a rusted drain told us. “We’ve been neighbours in this asset library for, like, weeks now. It seemed like a totally normal, safe, non-killer door. I’m shook.”

Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software confirmed Tuesday that the suspect was now in custody, and the crime scene has been re-opened to the public.

Fixed a locked control room door in Salt Mine that was killing Players instantly upon contact.

The update also resolves glitches with the game’s Battle Pass gifting system, and some adjustments to the MG 82 LMG and Nail Gun SMG, but Raven Software has not disclosed if these were linked to the homicides, or if other accomplices have been identified.

“I dunno,” said the rusted drain. “But that MG 82 was kind of a dick.”
