Originally released in 2005, Resident Evil 4 has been ported and remastered for a number of platforms over the years, but now it’s getting the VR treatment for the Oculus Quest 2 and people braver than myself. Take on Los Iluminados in first-person this time as you shoot, type, and crank your way to saving the president’s daughter.
More details to come on 21 April during the Oculus Gaming Showcase.
Can’t be certain, but I’m pretty sure this one’s about Ethan Winters.
Resident Evil Village launches for PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Stadia on 7 May. PlayStation players get early-access to a new 30-minute demo from 18 April (you should be able to pre-load it now) while the rest of the platforms have to wait until 2 May.
Resident Evil’s time-trial death mode The Mercenaries will return with Resident Evil Village, now with power upgrades and weapon shops to help you stock up between rounds.
Taking place in 2006, which is some time after the events of Resident Evil 4, but before Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a CG animated series that revolves around Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield defending the White House from a zombie invasion.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness begins on Netflix some time in July.
The Resident Evil collaboration launches some time in June. More details to come in Dead by Daylight’s fifth-anniversary livestream event on 25 May.
